The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity Gets Anime Adaptation from CloverWorks

 


An anime based on Saka Mikami's manga series Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity (Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku) is scheduled to debut in 2025. The series is being animated by Studio CloverWorks, and a teaser trailer showcasing Kaoruko Waguri and Rintaro Tsumugi, the two main characters, was also published. The voice actors and other employees have not yet been disclosed.

The manga series The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity (Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku) was created by Saka Mikami. In October 2021, it started to serialise on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket manga website and app. There are already 13 volumes in print, and the 14th volume is scheduled for release on October 9 of this year.



The manga is being published in print by Kodansha, and there are presently two volumes available. The first volume is described as follows:

Chidori High is a boys’ school that takes in the dregs of society with the lowest grades. Next door stands Kikyo Girls’ High, where the wealthy, high-class families send their precious daughters. Chidori second-year Rintaro, who has a fierce face but a gentle heart, is helping at his family’s patisserie when he meets a girl named Kaoruko. The two hit it off right away…but this blissful peace is quickly disturbed when Rintaro discovers that Kaoruko is actually a student at Kikyo. Worse, she doesn’t seem to realize what a huge problem this really is! Will these two be able to forge a path for themselves, and sidestep the traps (metaphorical and literal) laid by their classmates?

I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class reveals the January premiere, new cast, and first trailer

 

The first trailer, four new cast members, and the January 2025 launch date for the anime I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class were unveiled. The animation is overseen by Studios Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ, with Hiroyuki Oshima serving as director.

With Shogo Sakata portraying Saito Hojo, Hinaki Yano voices Akane Sakuramori. The announcement stated that Hinaki Yano will sing the last song.

Together with the artist of the manga adaptation, mosskonbu, the original novel's illustrator Nanami Narumi will create the anime's character designs. An overview of the anime:

High school student Hojo Saito marries his classmate, Sakuramori Akane, the girl who had been his worst enemy in school. “If you tell the rest of the class we’re married, I’ll kill you” “I don’t want them to know either. There’s no point in that.”

Their newlywed life isn’t going so well, and they are constantly at odds. However, as they progress through their daily lives, the distance between them closes, they have more enjoyable moments together, and they gradually come to understand one another.

Saito learns about Akane’s cute side, which he never saw before, and Akane gradually begins to recognize the feelings that she’d been keeping inside… The heart-throbbing newlywed life of two people who just can’t seem to be honest with each other begins here!

Seiju Amano is the author of the light novel series I'm Marrying a Girl I Hate in My Class (Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta), while Nanami Narumi is the illustrator. Media Factory began serialising the manga in December 2020, and as of November 2023, eight volumes had been published. Additionally, mosskonbu has illustrated a manga adaption.

Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga Unveils New Trailer

 


A new trailer for Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga was released. On October 5, the anime will make its broadcast debut and run for two straight episodes. When presenting the material, Nobuhiko Okamoto and Jun Fukuyama promised "the darkest part of the story" to yet. The trailer features Reol's opening song, "RE RESCUE":

The next Blue Night Saga and the next chapter in the Blue Exorcist franchise are being animated by Studio VOLN and are scheduled to debut in January 2025. Character designer and chief animation director Yurie Ohigashi is working with director Daisuke Yoshida on the Beyond the Snow Saga. The series composition is under the direction of Toshiya Ono. The soundtrack is being composed by Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano. The following are the new arc's theme songs:

The anime Blue Exorcist is based on a manga written by Kazue Katou. It began serialisation in Jump Square magazine in 2009, and in the spring of 2011, A-1 Pictures released an anime adaptation of it. The first season concluded with an original anime arc. The second season, Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga, debuted in the winter of 2017. It kept the manga's plot unchanged and disregarded the prequel's anime-only arc. In 2011, a companion piece named Blue Exorcist: Kuro's Trip Away From Home had its DVD special debut. There is also a two-episode OVA for the second season. Another A-1 Pictures-animated side story was added to the franchise in 2011. Among the anime series' principal cast members are:

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online reveals ReoNa's opening in the latest trailer

 


Ahead of its October 4 premiere date, Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online Season 2 unveiled a new trailer and key image at today's Aniplex Online Fest. The adaptation is being animated by Studio A-1 Pictures, who previously owned Studio 3Hz. Yosuke Kuroda is responsible for the series composition, Yoshio Kozakai is the character designer, and Masayuki Sakoi is the director. The rest of the staff is unchanged. The new trailer includes ReoNa "GG"'s opening theme song:

Dengeki Maoh magazine published by ASCII MediaWorks serialised a manga adaptation with illustrations by Tadadi Tamori from 2015 to 2021. Compilation was done in four volumes. Yen Press, who licensed the manga as well, outlines the story as follows:

Solo Leveling Season 2 Releases in January 2025 and features a new key visual

 

The anime Solo Levelling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow- has a new key image and a confirmed release date of January 2025. November will see the release of the first two episodes as the ReAwakening motion picture. It has been revealed that Crunchyroll will stream the animation produced by Studio A-1 Pictures outside of Japan.


Taito Ban and Reina Ueda were there when the announcement was made during the Aniplex Online Fest event.

The h-goon adaptation of Chugong and DUBU's Solo Levelling webtoon from REDICE Studio served as the inspiration for the anime. Streaming on Crunchyroll, the narrative is explained as follows:

Howl's Moving Castle Returns to Theatres, with a 20th anniversary visual and trailer revealed by GKIDS

 


This month, GKIDS is celebrating Hayao Miyazaki's 20th anniversary by re-releasing Howl's Moving Castle in American theatres. To mark the occasion, the company has also unveiled a new poster and teaser. It is a part of their continuing Ghibli Fest 2024, which has already screened a number of films and will screen a few more before the year is over.

I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years Season 2 Highlights Shalsha and Falfa in the Latest Trailer

 


I've reached my maximum level after 300 years of killing slimes. A third character trailer for the second season of the anime has been released, and it features both Falfa and Shalsha. Under the direction of Kunihisa Sugishima, Studio Teddy is producing animation. In 2025, the anime will make its debut.

First season of I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level debuted in April 2021, animated by Revoroot. The light book series by Kisetsu Morita (story) and Benio (art) served as the inspiration for the anime. As of August 9, there have been 25 releases of the novel. Crunchyroll streams the animation, and Yen Press licenses the English version of the novel.

The story follows Azusa, who dies of overworking and gets reincarnated as an undying witch in another world. She decides to be as free as she can, only hunting slimes. Little did she know that hunting slimes for centuries would still make her an overpowered isekai protagonist.

Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom reveals the Tokihito Saiga illustration

 

Illustrator Tokihito Saiga has created new artwork for the upcoming film Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom. On September 13, the film debuted in Japan's IMAX theatres. On September 20, it will make its national debut in Japan. On November 8, it will arrive in North America.


At MADHOUSE studio, Naoyuki Ito is directing the film, and Satoshi Tasaki is the principal animator and character designer. The script is being worked on by Yukie Sugawara. The music is being composed by Shuji Katayama. Overlord: OxT will make a comeback in the Sacred Kingdom film, along with a brand-new theme tune called "WHEELER-DEALER":

 

Volumes 12–13 of the light novel will be adapted for the third Overlord film. Although the arc was not featured in the fourth season, its events should have occurred around the 8th episode. The first two movies are recaps of the first and second seasons of the anime. They are titled The Undead King and The Dark Hero. Both came out in 2017.

2.5 Dimensional Seduction Arrives At Summer Comic Con With A Second Cour Trailer

 


The second season of the 2.5 Dimensional Seduction anime will air this autumn, and a new trailer introducing the Summer Comiket storyline has been released. English subtitles are streamed via HIDIVE, and the animation is done by Studio J.C. Staff.

Additionally, the new theme tunes were disclosed. "Tsugihagi no Tsubasa," the new opening song, is performed by Soraru. The primary female cast of the musical performs the closing song, "Release Sigh." It consists of Noa (CV: Sayumi Suzushiro), Aria Kisaki (CV: Sayumi Watabe), Ririsa Amano (CV: Kaori Maeda), and Mikari Tachibana (CV: Akari Kito).



As Yoichi Higarashi, Junichi Suwabe joined the voice cast.The four girls were included in the anime's earlier images as well.




Hideki Okamoto is the director of 2.5 Dimensional Seduction, Takao Yoshioka is in charge of the series composition, Tomoyuki Shitaya is in charge of character design, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi is in charge of music. The remaining voice actors for the anime are as follows:

Since June 2019, Yu Hashimoto has been writing and drawing the manga 2.5 Dimensional Seduction, which is serialised on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ manga service. The English manga was licensed by Seven Seas, and HIDIVE tells the tale:

Okumura, the otaku president of his school’s manga club, has absolutely no interest in real girls and prefers the sexy fictional 2D manga character, Liliel. However, when the new school year begins, he discovers the club has a new member: Ririsa. She not only has a passion for cosplay but considers Lilliel her favorite character. They quickly bond and when Ririsa convinces Okumura to be her photographer, the line between 2D and 3D blurs.

The "Undead" music video by YOASOBI is revealed

The music video for Monogatari: Off Season & Monster Season's "Undead" song was unveiled by YOASOBI. Characters and artwork from the anime series are included in the song video. The music video was directed by Ijigen Tokyo's Toshitaka Shinoda, while Shu Horiuchi (.MP) served as the art director.

For "Undead," YOASOBI's Ayase was in charge of the arrangement, lyrics, and music. In addition to vocalist Ikura, background chorus vocalists Haley Lewis, Missy Suzki, Leona Ortiz, Dylan Ortiz, and Jonas Whitaker are listed in the video credits. Their lyrics are credited to Konnie Aoki.

Theme songs for television programs including BEASTARS, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, and Oshi no Ko have made YOASOBI well-known to lovers of anime. Producer Ayumu and singer-songwriter Ikura make up the pair.


July 1, 2024, saw the release of the song. Monogatari's latest season debuted on July 7, one week later. The song was first listed as one of the theme songs, but it was eventually revealed that it would be the theme music for the conclusion. Nadeko Sengoku and Yotsugi Ononoki are voiced by Kana Hanazawa and Saori Hayami, who also perform the opening theme, "Caramel Ribbon Cursetard."


Natsume's Book of Friends Season 7 reveals a short new trailer

 


A brief new trailer for Natsume's Book of Friends Season 7 has been released in advance of the show's October 7 premiere. Outside of Japan, Crunchyroll will stream the animation. Yuki Midorikawa is the author of the Japanese manga series Natsume's Book of Friends. Before switching to LaLa in 2007, it was serialised by Hakusensha's LaLa DX from June 2003 to April 2008. As of September 5, 2024, 31 volumes have been released. The manga was licensed in English by Viz Media, and the plot is explained on Crunchyroll:

Natsume Takashi has the ability to see spirits, which he has long kept secret. However, once he inherits a strange book that belonged to his deceased grandmother, Reiko, he discovers the reason why spirits surround him.

There have been six TV anime seasons of the anime adaption thus far, with the most recent one premiering in 2017. Takahiro Omori directed the anime from season 1 to season 4, while Kotomi Deai directed it from season 5 to season 6. The animation was produced by Studios Brain's Base (seasons 1 through 4) and Shuka (seasons 5 through 6). There are also multiple OVAs and two films in the franchise.

The Elusive Samurai Unveils Trailer for Genba Character

 


Today marked the return of Elusive Samurai with Episode 10, which also featured a character trailer for Genba Kazama, another one of Tokiyuki's retainers. You can watch the trailer for Aoi Yuki, who plays the naughty Genba in the anime, below:

The Elusive Samurai is written and illustrated by Yusei Matsui, who is also credited with creating The Assassination Classroom. Since 2021, the manga has been serialised in Weekly Shounen Jump by Shueisha, while Viz Media is handling the English-language edition.

The story follows Tokiyuki Hojo, who is set to avenge his family after Takauji Ashikaga betrays them. He is helped by the eccentric clairvoyant Yorishige Suwa, who has a mysterious divine power of precognition, albeit inconsistent. The boy now needs to gather loyal retainers for the prophesied battle against his nemesis.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Verifies GT Characters in the Latest Teaser

 


The most recent trailer for the game DRAGON BALL: Sparking Zero showed that GT characters will also be included. Spike Chunsoft, who previously collaborated on Dragon Ball Z: BudokAI Tenkaichi, is the game's developer. This is DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI's first entry in 15 years, and it will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC from October 11.

Pre-orders for the game are now being accepted both physically and digitally. 365 Days to the Wedding reveals a new image and trailer with the cast's additional cast and theme songs.

 

A new key image and trailer for the anime 365 Days to the Wedding were unveiled, showcasing three more cast members in addition to the theme tunes. Hiroshi Ikehata is the director of Studio Ashi Productions, which is in charge of animation.

The opening theme song "Kira Kira" by HoneyWorks and the closing song "Tsumari wa" by GOHOBI are both featured in the new trailer:

Writing and drawing the 365 Days to the Wedding rom-com manga series is Tamiki Wakaki. From March 2020 to June 2023, it was serialised in Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine, and it was collected into 11 volumes in total. A live-action drama series that debuted in October 2022 was inspired by it. The manga is being published in English by Sevens Seas Entertainment.

The story follows the main duo of Rika and Takuya as they get engaged in order to avoid getting transferred to a new branch of their travel agency, as their manager limits the recruits to bachelors. They’ll have to convince their office they’re really engaged though.

The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love You Season 2 Unveils New Key Visual, Premieres January 12

 


A new key image and the launch date of January 12, 2025 for the anime series 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love You have been announced. The new image also includes some of the new voice cast members that the show recently unveiled for Rentaro's prospective girlfriends.

At Bibury Animation Studios, Hikaru Sato will return to helm the sequel. Takashi Aoshima will handle series composition, while Akane Yano will serve as both chief animator and character designer.



On December 24, 2023, the anime, whose full title is The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You, came to a conclusion. The announcement of the sequel came right after the conclusion.


For the first season, the principal voice cast consisted of:

You Are Ms. Servant Anime Gives Details of the Theme Song

 


The theme music for the upcoming anime You Are Ms. Servant has been announced in advance of its October 5 broadcast. Ayumu Watanabe is directing the series, which is being animated by Studio FelixFilm. "Otosori" by tricot is the opening music, while "Hyojo Sabun" by DUSTCELL is the closing theme.



Masahiro Tokuda is the composer of the series' music, Tomoyasu Kurashima is in charge of character design, and Deko Akao is in charge of series composition. The following people make up the anime's major cast:

The Transformers 40th anniversary complete animated video was unveiled by Studio TRIGGER. The theme song "Mayday" by BUMP OF CHICKEN is used in the project, which was revealed in August. Akira Amemiya, who previously directed SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon, directed the video.

Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions Season 2 reveals the main trailer

 The main trailer for Ron Kamonohashi's anime Forbidden Deductions Season 2 has been released, and it features the opening theme tune. Immediately following the conclusion of the first season, the sequel was revealed, with studio Diomedéa returning to animation.

Years later, they have to rely on him, with a rookie police officer Totomaru Isshiki there to help prevent him from causing any unnecessary deaths.

 

 

Attack on Titan The Last Attack Movie unveils the main trailer and the main image

 

The main anime trailer and a new key graphic for Attack on Titan the Movie: THE LAST ATTACK were unveiled. On November 8, the 145-minute compilation film will be released in Japan. The animation is being done by Studio MAPPA. The theatrical version will have 5.1ch surround sound and better trims of the Final Chapters specials parts 1 and 2. Watch the main trailer down below:

In the updated image, a youthful Eren is seen stretching up towards the sky and turning his back on both the enormous titans and everyone else. Clear files with the main visual will be given out to guests as a theater-only freebie in small amounts. On September 20, Japanese fans will be able to purchase tickets in advance.

The show was animated by Studio MAPPA starting in Season 4. It is an adaptation of the manga by Hajime Isayama that appeared in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine published by Kodansha from September 2009 to April 2021. The manga recently revealed plans for its 15th anniversary.

The Most Notorious 'Talker' Anime Unveils New Image, Releases Kohta Yamamoto's Theme Songs

 


The opening and closing theme songs by KOHTA YAMAMOTO, as well as some new cast members, have been announced for the anime The Most Notorious 'Talker' Runs the World's Greatest Clan.

One week before it airs on TV on Tokyo MX and BS NTV on October 7 and October 8, the anime will make its debut on d Anime Store and ABEMA on September 30.

Famous illustrators provide drawings for Jaki's light novel series, The Most Notorious 'Talker' Runs the World's Greatest Clan (Saikyo no Shienshoku 'Wajutsushi' dearu Ore wa Sekai Saikyo Kuran o Shitagaeru). Yamorichan illustrated a manga adaption of it as well.

The English light novel and manga are licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment, which outlines the plot of the book as follows:

Noel longs to be a Seeker like his heroic grandfather, slaying the beasts that emerge from Abysses and exploring far-off lands. Unfortunately, it turns out he’s nothing but a measly Talker–a job with no combat skills whatsoever. The Apothecary Diaries Manga reveals the Volume 14 bonus illustration

 



The extra illustration for Volume 14 of Itsuki Nanao and Nekokurage's manga series Apothecary Diaries (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto) has been revealed. Volume 14 is scheduled for release on September 25, 2024. The special edition costs 1,469 yen and includes an art booklet, while the ordinary edition costs 770 yen.

The bonus image shows Maomao, the main character, clutching a hairpin. In addition, there's a frog—a light-hearted allusion that viewers of the show would recognise. View the example below:

Natsu Hyuga and Toko Shino are the authors of the Japanese light novel series The Apothecary Diaries. The anime adaption was animated in 2023 by TOHO Animation and OML. In 2025, the second season is scheduled for release.


Additionally, there are two manga adaptations of the Apothecary Diaries series: Itsuki Nanao and Nekokurage's The Apothecary Diaries in Square Enix's Monthly Big Gangan, and Minoji Kurata's Kusuriya no Hitorigoto: Maomao no Kokyu Nazotoki Techo (The Apothecary Diaries: The Palace Cloister Mystery-Solving Notebook of Maomao), which was serialised in Shogakukan's Monthly Sunday Gene-X. Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2 Unveils New Trailer for October 7th Release Date

 


The opening theme song from Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2 was featured in a new trailer, which also confirmed the show's October 7 launch date. The light novel series Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles is written by Yuri Kitayama and illustrated by RIV. From February 2014 until October 2020, it was serialised on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. In October 2015, Hobby Japan began publishing the series under the HJ Bunko banner. The anime's first season is available for streaming on Crunchyroll, and the company has also confirmed that it has obtained the license for the sequel.

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft Animated Series Unveils New Image

 


Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft animated series has shared a visual, promising that a new teaser will also arrive in a week. On October 10, the Legendary Television production will debut on Netflix. The tale is officially placed after the game trilogy, and Hayley Atwell plays the title role.




The primary character of the Tomb Raider video game series is Lara Croft. She is a British archaeologist who travels the world exploring dangerous ruins and old tombs. She is characterised as intelligent and fit. Toby Gard was part of the team at British developer Core Design that created the character, which made his debut in the video game Tomb Raider in 1996.

The new series on Netflix is described as follows: 

TOMB RAIDER: THE LEGEND OF LARA CROFT picks up after the events of the highly successful Tomb Raider video game Survivor trilogy (Tomb Raider; Rise of the Tomb Raider; Shadow of the Tomb Raider), and will chart the globetrotting heroine’s next chapter as the iconic adventurer. More than 25 years after her first appearance, Lara Croft (voiced by Hayley Atwell) continues to explore ancient mysteries and uncover lost truths across breathtaking and dangerous destinations.

In September of last year, the animated series Tomb Raider and the animated version of Devil May Cry were unveiled.

Shangri-La Frontier Season 2 reveals the main trailer and LiSA's theme song

 


The primary trailer for Shangri-La Frontier Season 2 has been out, and it features LiSA's opening theme tune. Beginning on October 13, the sequel will run for two consecutive courses. Animation is done by Studio C2C.

"Dancer in the Dark Night" by otoha serves as the closing theme music, and "QUEEN," which is featured in the trailer, serves as the opening theme.


Akane Akitsu and Ceecrue, who were introduced in the last trailer, are two of the new cast members that the anime has revealed. Another player with one of The Seven Collosi on her record is Akane, and Ceecrue is her Rabituza assistant.
Beginning in October 2023, the inaugural season ran over two consecutive courses as well. Toshiyuki Kubooka, who is directing the sequel again, is joined by Kurashima Ayumi, who is designing the characters, and chief animation director, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu in charge of the series composition, and the trio of Hirokawa Keiichi, Takada Ryuichi amd Takahashi Kuniyuki in charge of the music.

 The web book by the latter, which has been serialised on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website since May 2017, is adapted into the original manga series Shangri-La Frontier by Ryosuke Fuji (art) and Katarina (story). The manga adaption was licensed in English by Kodansha USA and appears in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine.

The story follows Rakuro Hizutome, a player going by the name of Sunraku, who loves playing ‘shitty games’ and beating them despite all their bugs and flaws. He then finds a ‘god-tier’ game, Shangri-La Frontier, which he then learns to enjoy, meeting some old gamer friends and looking forward to discovering the most interesting features in the huge world.

 

Flower and Asura reveals the new visual, cast, and first teaser trailer

 

Studio Bind has unveiled the first teaser trailer for Flower and Asura (Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku), along with a new image and voice cast. The voice cast of the anime, which features Minori Fujidera and Miyuri Shimabukuro as the lead pair, was revealed in June. Its debut is scheduled for January 2025.


With the latest additions, the Flower and Asura's complete voice cast now includes:

Ayano Takeda, popularly known for Sound! Euphonium, is the author of the Japanese manga series Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku (The Flower Blooms, Like Ashura, or just Flower and Asura). Musshu provided the graphics for it.



Shueisha explains the narrative:

Hana lives on the small island of Tonakijima with a population of 600 and loves reading to the children of the island. Mizuki is the president of the broadcasting club at school. She recognizes Hana’s ability to engage people through her reading, and so she invites her to join the broadcasting club.

“Tell me what you really want, and I will make it come true.”
“I want to join the broadcasting club.”

Hana decides to join, and she experiences many “firsts” with the members of the broadcasting club and begins to deepen her love of reading

The most well-known project of Studio Bind is Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. Additionally, they adapted ONIMAI: I'm Now Your Sister, an anime that aired during the winter of 2023.

Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable Manga Comes to an end

 


Creator of the renowned manga series Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable Kai Ikada stated back in August via X/Twitter that the series will conclude after five years on September 11th, 2024. On the Japanese version of the Shonen Jump Plus website, the 119th and last chapter was published today. An excellent anime adaptation of Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable aired earlier this year, running from January to April 2024.



Following its publication in 2019, the manga Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable has topped Japanese best-selling lists, including Comic Zin's. The first volume became so successful in 2021 that a reprint was needed. The manga may be found in English on Shueisha's MANGA Plus app. The anime adaption is available on Crunchyroll, which characterises the piece as:

Demon Lord, Retry! R Anime reveals the new visual and main trailer for the September 28 premiere

 


The main trailer, key visual, and Japan premiere date for Demon Lord, Retry R anime were unveiled. From Studio GEKKOU, the animation is produced. Cruchyroll also declared that they will be available for streaming, however the platform's launch date has not yet been disclosed.

The opening theme song, "Ashita Sekai ga Owaru Toshite mo," by ASCA, and the closing theme song, "Clanssi:c feat. Yuho Kitazawa," by MIMiNARI, are both featured in the new trailer:

Kurone Kanzaki's light novels Demon Lord, Retry! (Maou-sama, Retry!) served as the inspiration for the anime. The book was first released with artwork by Koji Ogata under the Monster Bunko label of Futabasha. After three volumes, it was transferred to M Novels, with Makoto Iino taking over the drawings. Additionally, there is an Amaru Minotake-illustrated manga adaptation. Manga and light novels were licensed by J-Novel Club in English, and animation could be streamed on Crunchyroll.

The story follows Akira Oono as he ends up as the last boss in a video game, which was his favorite character anyway. He begins looking for a way to return to his original world, meeting a bunch of different characters along the way.
