Soccer Anime Aoashi Reveals Trailer, April 2022 Release Date

 Soccer anime Aoashi revealed a key visual, teaser trailer, and April 2022 release date on the official Twitter account. Production I.G is animating the series. Cast information is also available.

The key visual shows the protagonist Aoi Ashito on the right and his fellow teammates of the Tokyo City Esperion Youth team. You can check it out below:

The cast was also revealed. Osuzu Kouki is voicing Aoi Ashito and making his debut as a voice actor. The rest of the cast is:

  • Yashiro Taku as Togashi Keiji
  • Horie Shun as Kuroda Kanpei

And Kobayashi Chikahiro whose voice is Ranga (TenSura) will play the role of the team’s coach, Fukuda Tatsuya, while Kawasa Maki who played Konno Junko (Zombie Land Saga) will voice the coach’s sister-in-law, Ichijo Hana.

Aoashi Manga

The anime is based on a series by Kobayashi Yugo, which has been serialized in the Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine since 2015. The manga will release Volume 26 on November 12, 2021.

The manga won the 65th Shogakukan Manga Award for the General category. Shogakukan Asia is publishing the manga in English and describes the plot as:

Ashito Aoi is a young, aspiring soccer player from a backwater town in Japan. His hopes of getting into a high school with a good soccer club are dashed when he causes an incident during a critical match for his team, which results in their loss and elimination from the tournament. Nevertheless, he catches the eye of someone important who happened to be visiting from Tokyo. How will things turn out for Ashito?

Fruits Basket Prequel Episode Gets Visual, Release Date and Tohru x Kyo Epilogue

Funimation announced that the Fruits Basket -prelude- prequel episode, focusing on Tohru’s parents Kyoko and Katsuya Honda, will get a theatrical release, which will include an epilogue episode focusing on Tohru and Kyo after the series. In addition, there will be a digest of the anime between the two, and it will release in theaters in Japan on February 18, 2022. You can see the key visual:

hey also confirmed that the Japanese voice cast from the series will be back. That means Miyuki Sawashiro (Sinon, Kurapika, Celty) will voice Kyoko, while Yoshimasa Hosoya (Reiner, Doppo, Tokoyami) will be back as Katsuya.

The Fruits Basket prequel episode will premiere in about 4 months. Besides her parents, we’ll also see what Kyo and Tohru have been up to since the series! Reminder that the anime’s final season ranked as the best of Spring 2021. That was based on votes from 48,250 people throughout the season! Besides that, Kyo was also voted the best boy of Spring 2021. Tohru placed 2nd on the Best Girl, only behind Vladilena Milize from 86 -Eighty Six-.

The Dawn of the Witch Release Date Set for April 2022

 The Dawn of the Witch is a Japanese fantasy light novel series written by Kakeru Kobashiri and illustrated by Takashi Iwasaki, with partial character designs by Yoshinori Shizuma. Kodansha have published four volumes since August 2018 under their Kodansha Ranobe Bunko imprint.

 The Dawn of the Witch anime revealed a new key visual and April 2022 release date. Staff and the cast information is now also available, along with the official website and a Twitter account.

Cast

The cast for the four characters are as follows. Umeda Shuichiro will play the role of Cervil while, Okasaki Miho, who is known for the voice of Rimuru (TenSura) will voice Ross. Suzushiro Sayumi, who acted as Takemoto Uruka (We Never Learn) in 2019, will voice Holt, and Yashiro Taku, who voices Ares in this season’s Banished from the Hero’s Party), will star as Coudeau.

Staff

Kuwabara Satoshi (Girlfriend, Girlfriend) is directing the anime and doing series composition. Kobashiri Kakeru and Morita Mayumi will take control of the script. Iwasaki Reina will design the characters, while Saiki Tatsuhiko (Girlfriend, Girlfriend) will handle the music. Tezuka Productions is producing the anime.

The Dawn of the Witch

The anime is based on the light novel by author Kobashiri Kakeru and illustrator Iwasaki Takashi. The light novel started serialization in 2018, and it currently has three volumes, with the last one coming out in May this year. A manga adaptation by Tatsuwo is also ongoing, with the 4th volume that was released on October 7, 2021.

Kodansha USA has been publishing the manga adaptation in English and describes the plot as:

Cervil is a magic student with no memories of his life before he met a mysterious blond woman in an alley. Now he travels with his teacher, Ross—another student, Holt, and the beastman Coudeau for “special training”… but this field trip may not be as routine as it seems!

SHAMAN KING Reveals Visual and Trailer for the New Arc!!!

 Shaman King is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei. It follows the adventures of Yoh Asakura as he attempts to hone his shaman skills to become the Shaman King by winning the Shaman Fight.

The official Twitter for the SHAMAN KING anime revealed a new visual and trailer for the upcoming arc on October 28, 2021. Additional cast was also announced. The arc will start with the 30th episode on November 4, 2021.

As for the additional cast, Hideyuki Tanaka will voice Matamune, and Hiroki Nanami will voice Asakura Haou.

Osorezan Revoir arc features a prequel story arc before the events of the SHAMAN KING series. It tells the story of the encounter of Kyoyama Anna, Asakura Yoh, and his guardian spirit, Matamune, on Mount Osore, Aomori.

The remake of the original SHAMAN KING anime premiered in April 2021. It will be 52 episodes long and will adapt all 35 volumes of the manga. Studio Bridge is charge of the production with Furuta Takeshi directing the show.

RPG Real Estate Anime Reveals First Trailer, 2022 Release!!!

 

RPG Real Estate anime revealed the first trailer, along with a 2022 release date. Staff and cast information are also available.

Studio Doga Kobo (My Senpai is Annoying) is animating the series, with Tomoaki Koshida (Ikebukuro West Gate Park) as the director. Motohiro Taniguchi is doing character designs, while Yoshiko Nakamura is in charge of series composition.

The story is based on a four-panel manga series by Chiyo Kenmotsu. The manga has been serialized in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine since 2018.15 years after a Demon King’s , Kotone Kazairo graduates from magician school and sets out to look for a job. The world is peaceful and there is nothing to worry about. She reaches out to RPG Real Estate in hopes they’ll help her, but they actually end up offering her employment. Her co-workers are the free and mischievous Fa, the strict monk Rufuria, and the cute but unpredictable warrior Rakira. The 4 of them work together to solve the impossible problems of the quirky customers who come looking for a home,

The Eminence in Shadow Anime Reveals Teaser Trailer and Visual!!!

 Upcoming The Eminence in Shadow anime revealed a new teaser trailer and a visual. The anime is set to air in 2022.


The teaser trailer features an overview of action scenes:


Studio Nexus (Darwin’s Game) is animating the previously announced series. Kazuya Nakanishi (character designs for Darwin’s Game) is directing The Eminence in Shadow. Makoto Iino (Demon Lord, Retry) is doing character designs, while Kanichi Kato is in charge of series composition.

The story is based on a light novel by Daisuke Aizawa, with Touzai’s illustrations. The light novel started serialization in 2017 and also has manga and 4-koma adaptations going. YenPress licensed the light novel and describes the plot as:

Even in his past life, Cid’s dream wasn’t to become a protagonist or a final boss. He’d rather lie low as a minor character until it’s prime time to reveal he’s a mastermind…or at least, do the next best thing-pretend to be one! And now that he’s been reborn into another world, he’s ready to set the perfect conditions to live out his dreams to the fullest. The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie Release Date Set For Summer 2022, Gets New Visual!!!

 The Quintessential Quintuplets is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Negi Haruba. It was serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from August 2017 to February 2020.

The previously announced The Quintessential Quintuplets movie has confirmed its release date in early Summer 2022. Advance tickets will be available in Japan starting this Friday on October 29, and they’ve released a new visual. It features the Nakano sisters in swimsuits, and you can see it below:

The anime previously had 2 TV seasons, both consisting of 12 episodes. Season 2 finished airing on March 26, 2021. The anime series was well liked among our fans, and it ranked as the 5th Best Anime of the Season for Winter 2021. The manga still has more material, which the movie will likely cover. Kodansha licensed the manga in English, and they describe it:

A high school romantic comedy with five times the cute girls! A high school boy must work part-time to help five sisters study so they can graduate, but the only thing these quintuplets have in common is that they all hate studying!

Five girls who want to do anything but study, and their tutor: a high school boy who’s got book smarts and not much else. Futaro Uesugi took the tutoring gig because he was desperate for cash, but when his students—the five beautiful daughters of a wealthy businessman—find five times the excuses to slack off, what can he do?!  The upcoming anime My Dress-Up Darling revealed a new PV and its main cast. Studio CloverWorks will be producing the series under the direction of Keisuke Shinohara.

Cast & Production

The cast of My Dress-Up Darling includes Hina Suguta as Marin Kitagawa and Shoya Ishige as Wakana Gojo. 

Keisuke Shinohara is directing the series at studio CloverWorks. Yoriko Tomita is in charge of the series composition and script. Meanwhile, Kazumasa Ishida is the character designer and animation director. On the other hand, Takeshi Nakatsuka is in charge of the music along with Akiko Fujita as sound director.

CloverWorks is also known for producing Shadows HouseThe Promised NeverlandHorimiya, and much more. 

My Dress-Up Darling Synopsis

Young Gangan magazine is publishing the “Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru” manga since January 19, 2018. Square Enix Manga is also publishing the series in English as “My Dress-Up Darling” since April 14, 2020, and they describes the series as:

Classroom of the Elite Year 2 Gets Manga Adaptation

 In this direct sequel series to the cutthroat school drama that inspired an anime and manga adaptation (also from Seven Seas), the students' second year begins--and the stakes are as high as ever!


Kinugasa Shogo and Tomose Shunsaku‘s light novel, Classroom of the Elite Year 2 will receive a 

manga adaptation. It was announced in Volume 5 on October 25, 2021. Sasane Shia will begin the 

serialization in manga magazine Monthly Comic Alive on December 25, 2021.

Classroom of the Elite series depicts a high school student, Ayanokoji Kiyotaka’s school life, and Year 2

is the story after he becomes a 2nd year student. The light novel’s 5th volume also went on sale on 

October 25.

Comic Alive’s December Issue will be out on October 27, 2021. The light novel’s characters, Horikita 

Suzune and Ibuki Mio make the cover. Ichino Yuyu’s Classroom of the Elite manga is still ongoing in the

 magazine as well.

Classroom of the Elite

Kinugasa Shogo writes the story of Classroom of the Elite, and Tomose Shunsaku draws illustrations

 for it. Kadokawa firstly published Volume 1 under their light novel brand MF Bunko J on May 25, 2015. 

Volume 11.5 was out on September 25, 2019 before Volume 1 of Classroom of the Elite Year 2 series 

released on January 24, 2020. In addition, Year 2 has 5 volumes as of October 25, 2021.

The official English publisher for the series, both the manga and light novel, describes the plot as:

Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro Season 2 Announced!!!

Season 2 of Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro has been officially announced. There is still no information about the potential release date.


The visual was drawn by season 1 character designer, Misaki Suzuki. The first season of Miss Nagatoro aired earlier this year and had 13 episodes. Telecom Animation Film animated the series, while Hirokazu Hanai directed. Gin composed the music.

Sumire Ueasaka, Nagatoro’s voice actress, tweeted about the announcement while also expressing her excitement: Twitter

 

The anime is based on a web manga by Nanashi. Anime Corner recently interview Nanashi, who 

wanted to write a story about a character such as Nagatoro but ended up turning it into a rom-com. 

The manga began publishing in 2017 on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket online service. Kodansha US 

also licensed the manga in English. 

The anime is available for streaming on Crunchyroll.

I’m Quitting Heroing to Receive Anime Adaptation!!! I'm Quitting Heroing anime trailer!!! yuusha, yamemasu

Quantum’s light novel series, I’m Quitting Heroing will receive a TV anime adaptation in April 2022. The official twitter account for the anime made the announcement on October 20, 2021. However, the specific release date is not available yet. The work won the Grand Prize in the category of Isekai Fantasy at the 2nd Kakuyomu Web Novel Contest in 2017.


Staff

EMT Squared will produce the anime. The project apparently shares some of the staff members with one of their other anime work, Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear. Firstly, Nobuta Yuu who will join the I’m Quitting Heroing anime as the general director, and he directed the anime in 2020. Ishii Hisahi was also working as the series director. Likewise, Nakano Yuuki designed the characters. Murakoshi Shigeru did series composition in both Zombie Land Saga anime titles, Zombie Land Saga (2018) and Zombie Land Saga Revenge (2021).

Voice Actors

The following voice actors will play the characters as below. Firstly, Ono Kensho, whose voice is Kuroko Tetsuya in Kuroko’s Basket Ball will act as the protagonist in the upcoming anime. Hondo Kaede, who is taking part in Mieruko-chan as Yurikawa Hana this season, will join as Echidna. Ito Shizuka, known for her leading characters, such as Katsura Hinagiku in Hayate the Combat Butler, will be Schtina. Owada Hitomi, who played Imai Midori in the Shirobako series, will voice Lilly. Uchiyama Yumi, the voice of young Rudeus Greyrat in Mushoku Tensei, will show off her voice as Melnes. Lastly, Inada Tohru, who is a hero as Endeavor in My Hero Academia, was cast as Inada Tetsu.

I’m Quitting Heroing

With author Quantum and illustrator Amano Hana, the light novel has been running since 2017 and currently has three compiled volumes. The series has received a manga adaptation by Kazato Nori on Young Ace Up and released its 5th volume last May. The publishing company describes the plot in the manga:

A Retired Hero tries to rebuild the Demon King’s Army—a story for those of you who are struggling with work!
After saving the world, the strongest hero Leo became someone who is not wanted in the peaceful human world. He was too strong.
Exiled, he seeks a job at the Demon King’s Army, which he had defeated and needs to be rebuilt.
The Army had many problems: too much work, financial troubles, etc. Leo starts to make things better using his power.
Leo encounters Echidna again, and asks her why she invaded the human world. There was an unexpected story—!
This is the comic version of the Japanese novel which won one of the major online prizes for novels!

Mob Psycho 100 season 3 has been officially announced. There is no official release date yet, but a teaser trailer is now available:

Takahiro Hasui is directing, while Hiroshi Seko is in charge of series composition. Yoshimichi Kameda is once again doing character designs with Kenji Kawai on music. In addition, studio BONES is animating the sequel.

The announcement came after a 100-day countdown from the official Twitter account for the anime. The countdown started on July 12th, which was also the 5th anniversary of the first season’s premiere.

Mob Psycho 100

Mob Psycho 100 manga, by ONE, the author of One Punch Man started serialization in Ura Sunday magazine in 2012. The manga ended in 2017, after 101 chapters (16 volumes). A spin-off series Mob Psycho 100: Reigen was serialized from 2018 to 2019.

The author, ONE, shared a special illustration on Twitter while thanking the fans for their support:

 

The first season of the Mob Psycho 100 anime, by studio BONES, aired in the Summer of 2016. The second season followed in 2019. The franchise also has a side-story titled Mob Psycho 100 II: The First Spirits and Such Company Trip – A Journey that Mends the Heart and Heals the Soul, as well as a Mob Psycho Mini omake and a recap episode titled Mob Psycho 100 Reigen: The Miraculous Unknown Psychic.

Dark Horse licensed the manga for the English market and describes the plot as:

Do you or someone you know need an exorcist who works cheap? Reigen’s your guy! What’s his secret to busting ghosts while keeping prices low? Well, first, he’s a fraud, and second, he pays the guy who’s got the real psychic power—his student assistant Shigeo—less than minimum wage.
