In this direct sequel series to the cutthroat school drama that inspired an anime and manga adaptation (also from Seven Seas), the students' second year begins--and the stakes are as high as ever!
Kinugasa Shogo and Tomose Shunsaku‘s light novel, Classroom of the Elite Year 2 will receive a
manga adaptation. It was announced in Volume 5 on October 25, 2021. Sasane Shia will begin the
serialization in manga magazine Monthly Comic Alive on December 25, 2021.
Classroom of the Elite series depicts a high school student, Ayanokoji Kiyotaka’s school life, and Year 2
is the story after he becomes a 2nd year student. The light novel’s 5th volume also went on sale on
October 25.
Comic Alive’s December Issue will be out on October 27, 2021. The light novel’s characters, Horikita
Suzune and Ibuki Mio make the cover. Ichino Yuyu’s Classroom of the Elite manga is still ongoing in the
magazine as well.
Classroom of the Elite
Kinugasa Shogo writes the story of Classroom of the Elite, and Tomose Shunsaku draws illustrations
for it. Kadokawa firstly published Volume 1 under their light novel brand MF Bunko J on May 25, 2015.
Volume 11.5 was out on September 25, 2019 before Volume 1 of Classroom of the Elite Year 2 series
released on January 24, 2020. In addition, Year 2 has 5 volumes as of October 25, 2021.
