An important image showing the major protagonists and mobile suits (including an SD Gundam) from the upcoming three-episode Gundam Build Metaverse anime has been released. Additionally, a new teaser trailer with clips from previous Gundam Build anime, including Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise and Gundam Build Fighters, was uploaded.
Rio Hojo, who resides in Hawaii, Seria Urutsuki, a mentor for Rio's Gunpla construction and member of the hobby shop staff, and Mask Lady, a mentor for Rio's Gunpla battles who resides in the Metaverse, are the main characters. Images of their character designs (including Rio’s avatar form) and Rio’s Lah Gundam were posted on the anime’s website.
Sunrise Beyond is producing the series under the direction of Masami Obari (Gundam Build Fighters Battlogue, Super Robot Taisen OG: The Inspector, Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture), with Noboru Kimura (AMAIM Warrior at the borderline) serving as the series composer. Other staff include:
• Character design: Ippei Gyobu, Yoriko Goto, and Hirona Okada
• Fumina design cooperation: Humikane Shimada (Gundam Build Fighters Try Super Fumina designer)
• Kenichi Ohnuki, a character designer for Gundam Build Fighters, is in charge of character design.

Rio happens to run upon several former Gunpla Battle champions in the Metaverse realm after finishing his own original Gunpla, the Lah Gundam.
An Entry Grade 1/144 Lah Gundam, an Entry Grade 1/144 Build Strike Exceed Galaxy, an HG 1/144 Shin Burning Gundam, an SD Gundam Cross Silhouette F-Kunoichi Kai, an HG 1/144 Gundam 00 Driver Arc, and an HG 1/144 Plutine Gundam are all part of the Gunpla product line for Gundam Build Metaverse.
In October, Gundam Build Metaverse will be broadcast on the GundamInfo YouTube channel. The programme is intended to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Gundam Build series.
