Solo Leveling Season 2 Releases in January 2025 and features a new key visual

 

The anime Solo Levelling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow- has a new key image and a confirmed release date of January 2025. November will see the release of the first two episodes as the ReAwakening motion picture. It has been revealed that Crunchyroll will stream the animation produced by Studio A-1 Pictures outside of Japan.


Taito Ban and Reina Ueda were there when the announcement was made during the Aniplex Online Fest event.

The first teaser, which featured Hiroyuki SAWANO's song "4eVR" from the original soundtrack, was already made public.

The h-goon adaptation of Chugong and DUBU's Solo Levelling webtoon from REDICE Studio served as the inspiration for the anime. Streaming on Crunchyroll, the narrative is explained as follows:

They say whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, but that’s not the case for the world’s weakest hunter Sung Jinwoo. After being brutally slaughtered by monsters in a high-ranking dungeon, Jinwoo came back with the System, a program only he could see, that’s leveling him up in every way. Now, he’s inspired to discover the secrets behind his powers and the dungeon that spawned them.

The core cast of Season 1 included Shunsuke Nakashige as director, Tomoko Sudo as character designer, Kevin Penkin as music composer, and Noboru Kimura as head of series composition. Season 1 aired for 12 episodes from January to April 2024.
