Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable Manga Comes to an end

Creator of the renowned manga series Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable Kai Ikada stated back in August via X/Twitter that the series will conclude after five years on September 11th, 2024. On the Japanese version of the Shonen Jump Plus website, the 119th and last chapter was published today. An excellent anime adaptation of Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable aired earlier this year, running from January to April 2024.

Following its publication in 2019, the manga Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable has topped Japanese best-selling lists, including Comic Zin's. The first volume became so successful in 2021 that a reprint was needed. The manga may be found in English on Shueisha's MANGA Plus app. The anime adaption is available on Crunchyroll, which characterises the piece as:

Snowflakes aren’t the only things dropping in Hokkaido—so are jaws, thanks to the super adorable gals who are turning the icy north into a hotbed of fashion and fun. Brace yourself for a winter storm of laughs, love, and killer outfits as these gals prove that being cute is an all-season affair. Here, frostbite meets fashionista!

To commemorate the finale of Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable, Kai Ikada shared brand-new artwork on X. He expresses the hope that his manga may inspire people to visit Kitami, the setting of the story, and to fall in love with Hokkaido, the most northern prefecture of Japan.

Fans are enquiring about the prospect of Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable season 2 under Ikada's X post, despite the fact that there is currently no word on the matter.
