A brief new trailer for Natsume's Book of Friends Season 7 has been released in advance of the show's October 7 premiere. Outside of Japan, Crunchyroll will stream the animation. The video is available for viewing on their X (formerly Twitter) account below, as well as on their official YouTube page.
The primary trailer and visual for the anime were previously released. The opening theme "Alca" is performed by Hinata Kashiwagi, and the closing theme "Komari Warai" is performed by Toshiki Kondo. Takahiro Omori, who directed seasons 1 through 4 of Studio Shuka, is back as the head animator. The entire personnel comprises:

Yuki Midorikawa is the author of the Japanese manga series Natsume's Book of Friends. Before switching to LaLa in 2007, it was serialised by Hakusensha's LaLa DX from June 2003 to April 2008. As of September 5, 2024, 31 volumes have been released. The manga was licensed in English by Viz Media, and the plot is explained on Crunchyroll:
Natsume Takashi has the ability to see spirits, which he has long
kept secret. However, once he inherits a strange book that belonged to
his deceased grandmother, Reiko, he discovers the reason why spirits
surround him.
There have been six TV anime seasons of the anime adaption thus far, with the most recent one premiering in 2017. Takahiro Omori directed the anime from season 1 to season 4, while Kotomi Deai directed it from season 5 to season 6. The animation was produced by Studios Brain's Base (seasons 1 through 4) and Shuka (seasons 5 through 6). There are also multiple OVAs and two films in the franchise.
