Chapter 134 of Jump SQ Issue #10, which features artwork by Yoshiaki Sukeno, will mark the formal conclusion of the Twin Star Exorcists manga on September 4. The series' last volume to be published is volume 35. Sukeno thanked everyone for their support on social media and informed the fans that the chapter's final draft was finished.
Back in June of this year, Sukeno first declared that the manga would conclude in three chapters. Since October 2013, Jump Square has been serialising Twin Star Exorcists, which has garnered fourteen cover pages in addition to multiple coloured spreads. The manga was published in more than 5 million copies and even made it to the New York Times Manga Best Sellers list for Volume 3 in two separate weeks.
Sukeno also illustrated the three light novel adaptations and the two spin-off manga series that followed the original series. Twin Star Exorcists was adapted into an anime series that ran for 50 episodes from 2016 to 2017. The series was directed by Tomohisa Taguchi, with animation handled by studio Pierrot.
The first 31 volumes of the series have been released by VIZ Media after they acquired the English license in 2015. Volume 32 is scheduled for release on November 19, 2024. The series is described by the publishing business as:
Rokuro dreams of becoming anything but an exorcist! Then mysterious Benio turns up. The pair are dubbed the “Twin Star Exorcists” and learn they are fated to marry… Can Rokuro escape both fates? When Rokuro’s best friend Ryogo goes missing, Rokuro is forced to ask Benio for help to enter Magano, the realm of the evil Kegare, to rescue him!
