A second image from SK8, the Infinity OVA, has surfaced, this one with Shindo Ainosuke (Adam) and Kikuchi Tadashi (Snake). Along with the announcement of Season 2, the new episode was made in 2022. The first image, which starred Kojiro Nanjo (Joe) and Kaoru Sakurayashiki (Cherry Blossom), was unveiled in January.
August 8 is honoured as the protagonist Reki Kyan's birthday, and the announcement is made through a "∞ Day" commemorative stream. Additionally, it was revealed that the TV anime's first season will begin airing again in Japan on October 11.
The crew from Season 1 of Studio BONES will be back to animate. This comprises character designer Michinori Chiba, series composer Ichirou Ookouchi, and director Hiroko Utsumi. The primary voice cast consist of:

Reki,
a high school sophomore and skater, is addicted to “S,” a highly secret
and dangerous downhill skateboarding race that takes place in an
abandoned mine. The skaters are especially wild about the “beefs,” or
heated battles that erupt in the races.
Reki takes
Langa, a transfer student returning to Japan after studying abroad, to
the mine where the races are held. Langa, who has no skateboarding
experience, finds himself pulled into the world of “S”…
