A new image and video for the TV anime KAMITSUBAKI City Under Construction have been released ahead of its 2025 debut date, along with information about the main cast. The animation will be handled by Studio SMDE.

The main KAMITSUBAKI City Under Construction anime staff consists of:
- World Building, Supervision and Original Scenario: Soki Tsukishima
- Director, Series Composition: Kodai Kakimoto
- Character Design: PALOW
The main characters will be voiced by members of the virtual artist group V.W.P (Virtual Witch Phenomenon), which is composed of the following members:
- KAF
- RIM
- Harusaruhi
- Isekaijoucho
- KOKO
Creative label KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO, based in Japan, has launched a new original intellectual property initiative called KAMITSUBAKI City Under Construction. The TV anime and the rhythm game KAMITSUBAKI CITY ENSEMBLE were both revealed back in January. The game is explained as follows:
Kamitsubaki City Ensemble is a rhythm game in which AI girls who were awoken after the apocalypse use special song magic to create melodies with you, in an effort to restart the world. How did the destruction happen? Why do these girls exist? All answers will be revealed…when the music stops.
The tagline "GO AGAINST FATE" is all that exists regarding the TV anime's plot; no other information is available.
