The much-anticipated Bang Dream! Ave Mujica anime has unveiled the preview images and detailed staff for episode 1. Koichiro Koga directs the debut episode, with Midori Goto (known for Hozuki’s Coolheadedness) and Yuniko Ayana (from Flip Flappers) handling the scriptwriting. Naoya Okugawa (director for Argonavis from BanG Dream episodes 2 and 10) oversees the storyboard for this exciting new release.
The official anime website teases the plot of episode 1 with the following synopsis: Under the guidance of the founder, Sakiko, Ave Mujica’s popularity skyrockets. With the group determined to secure the success of their next performance, Sakiko invests her heart and soul into creating the perfect stage. However, internal tensions flare as a rift emerges between the band members, who voice dissatisfaction with the group’s direction. The stage begins, but each member harbors different intentions.
Bang Dream! Ave Mujica is a direct sequel to the popular BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!! anime. Koudai Kakimoto returns to direct at Studio SANZIGEN, with Yuniko Ayana continuing the scriptwriting duties. Original character designers Hitowa and Kazuyuki Ueda are back to design the characters, while Hitoshi Fujima and Junpei Fujita from Elements Garden are once again in charge of composing the music for the sequel.
The anime’s opening theme is titled “KiLLKiSS” and is performed by the band Ave Mujica. The main cast will reprise their roles, bringing back beloved characters:

Bang Dream! Franchise Overview:
Bang Dream! is an expansive multimedia project created by Bushiroad president Takaaki Kidani. The franchise debuted in 2015, and the first anime series premiered in January 2017 with 13 episodes. A sequel aired in January 2019, and a third season followed in 2020, making Bang Dream! a key player in the anime music industry.
