A new trailer for the anime Magic Maker: Isekai Mahou no Tsukurikata, which stars Shion as the main character, was released. With Studio DEEN handling the animation, the anime is scheduled to debut in 2025. The trailer for Shion, who is narrated by Megumi Han, is shown below:
Shion's sister Marie is portrayed by Ai Kakuma in the anime, which was revealed in July. The following people work on the Magic Maker anime staff:

Japanese light novel series Magic Maker: Isekai Mahou no Tsukurikata was written by Kazuki Kaburagi and drawn by Kururi. June 2017 saw the debut of its serialisation on the Shosetsuka ni Narou website. In May 2020, Media Factory bought it, and two volumes were released under the MF Books banner. Additionally, there is a manga adaptation by Tomozo Nishioka that was published by Mag Garden in three volumes and lasted from June 2021 to February 2023.
The narrative centres on a thirty-year-old wizard researcher who, prior to his rebirth as Shion, a lowly nobility, lived a life of magic research. After realising with horror that magic does not exist in the other world either, he decides to make it himself.
