The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup Semifinal releases the image and trailer on October 2

 A new key image and trailer for Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup Semifinal were unveiled, along with details on the primary cast, release date of October 2, and theme song information. Yoshinobu Tokumoto is directing the animation produced by Studio M.S.C.



"Wake up" by Kidella serves as the opening theme, and "GLANZ" by emBLEm=ADLER serves as the closing theme. The new trailer includes a clip of the opening song.


The anime crew, in addition to director Yoshinobu Tokumoto, consists of character designer and chief animation director Akiharu Ishii, series composition supervisor Mitsutaka Hirota, art director Jinya Kimura, and music supervisor Chihiro Tamaki.

Japanese manga series The Prince of Tennis, written by Takeshi Konomi, ran in serial form in Weekly Shonen Jump from July 1999 to March 2008. The New Prince of Tennis, also known as The Prince of Tennis II, is the sequel that has been serialised in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine since 2009.



Trans Arts produced an anime adaption that aired for 178 episodes between October 2001 and March 2005. After that, Production I.G. and Trans Arts animated 26 OVA episodes. From March 2006 to January 2009, they were broadcast.



The Prince of Tennis II was adapted into a 13-episode anime television series that aired from January to March 2012. From July to September 2022, The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup was shown on television.
