On October 7, the 45th edition of this year's Weekly Shonen Jump will include the official return of Hunter x Hunter manga. It was made public in December 2022 that the weekly serialisation would end. Volume 38 is scheduled for release this September, with the previous volume having been published in November of 2022.
The manga series Hunter x Hunter is written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi. In March 1998, Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump started serialising it. The health problems of the manga's creator have caused many breaks in the series. He appears to be working on chapter 417 right now, as evidenced by his sporadic updates on X/Twitter.
