Haigakura Anime reveals a new key visual and confirms the release date of October 2024

A new key image for the anime Haigakura has been unveiled, along with details about the theme music and the October 2024 premiere date. MADKID will play the opening theme song "Chaser," and Hikaru Makishima will deliver the closing song "Phoenix." The series is being animated by Studio Typhoon Graphics, under the direction of Junichi Yamamoto.

In addition to Junichi Yamamoto, the director, Yuu Murai, is in charge of the series composition; Masaki Sato is in charge of character design; and Yuhki Kurihara is in charge of music for Haigakura animation.

Shinobu Takayama's manga serves as the basis for the Haigakura anime. From January 2008 until May 2015, Ichijinsha's Comic Zero Sum WARD magazine published it in serial form. In September 2015, it was moved to Zero-Sum Online, where it is currently ongoing.

The manga takes place in a universe where several lesser gods and four gods who once served as pillars for the planet have gone. As a result, kashikans—those tasked with apprehending fugitive gods and re-establishing order in the universe—rose to prominence.

In order to release his foster father—who was captured in order to replace the four gods who departed—the main character, Ichiyo, begrudgingly transforms into a kashikan. Ichiyo wants to reclaim the gods and return to his previous tranquil life.
