Sound Euphonium Season 3 Has New Visuals to Kick Off Auditions
The anime Sound Euphonium unveiled a new image that centres on the auditions that will begin with tomorrow's episode. The anime is presently on its third season. As demonstrated last week, the girls genuinely want to succeed:
Tatsuya Ishihara is directing Kyoto Animation in the sequel's animation. Watch the teaser for the sixth episode, which will premiere on May 12:
Ayano Takeda's light novel series served as the inspiration for the anime. Serialised in the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Web magazine was the manga adaption. Kyoto Animation created the animation for both of the TV anime series' two seasons. They were shown from October to December 2016 and April to July 2015, respectively. Two animated films in the series are also available: Sound! Euphonium: The Movie - Our Promise: A Brand New Day and Liz and the Blue Bird, which were released in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Kyoto Animation created the animation for both. The TV anime's second season features a spin-off called Liz and the Blue Bird.
Yen Press translated Sound! Euphonium's books into English and provided the following synopsis of the story:
Finding herself, one note at a time…After a terrible disappointment
at the All-Kyoto Concert Band Competition, music has lost its spark for
Kumiko. But her first year at Kitauji High School is a chance for a
fresh start. So when it comes time to choose a club, she can’t resist
joining the band again–even though they’re simply terrible. The strict
new club director has promised to whip them into shape to reach
Nationals, but the trouble runs deeper than just a lack of practice.
Plus, the discord within the club tugs at Kumiko’s old insecurities.
Will Kitauji High School find its rhythm before the competition? Will
Kumiko?
