A 2025 anime adaptation of Kakushite Makina-san has been announced.
An anime adaptation of Yoshimi Sato's sexual comedy manga series Kakushite Makina-san is
scheduled to premiere in 2025. With the news came the publication of a teaser image.
The manga was first serialised in Futabasha's Monthly Action from October 2022 to February 2024. After the original magazine ceased publishing, the manga was subsequently transferred to Futabasha's Web Comic Action in April 2024. There are presently three volumes of the manga available as of this writing.
The narrative of Kakushite Makina-san centres on Makina Agatsuma, a well-liked school idol, as she moves in with the quiet fan of all things mechanical, Eita Akutsu. Eita, who has been hiding his feelings for her for a while, thinks his luck has changed. Still,He quickly finds out that Makina is a robot made for personal purposes and is not who she looks. A passionate relationship blossoms between them as Eita frantically tries to conceal Makina's true identity.
Yoshimi Sato's other works, besides Kakushite! Makina-san!!, include Fumikiri Jikan (2016), Transistor Teaset: Denki Gairozu (2008), Dysmatopia (2011), and Inga Ouhou!!? Warumiko-san (2016), With Liz (2007), and Tetsugaku-san to Kiben-kun (2015).
