Studios MADHOUSE and CYCLONE GRAPHICS are adapting WANDANCE into an anime series, with a 2025 release window planned. Rie Hata, popularly referred to as the "Queen of Swag," will serve as the dance producer for the street dancing anime. To mark the announcement, the manga's creator created an illustration.
Coffee is a writer and illustrator for the Japanese manga series WANDANCE. Since January 2019, it has been serialised in Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon seinen magazine, and as of April, 12 volumes had been published. On August 22, Volume 22 is scheduled for release.
According to Kodansha USA's English license, the manga tells the following story:
A SHY TEENAGER HAPPENS ON A CLASSMATE DANCING ALONE, AND HER JOY TURNS A KEY, UNLOCKING SOMETHING IN HIS HEART…
Kaboku
