A new teaser trailer for the time machine from the anime TERMINATOR ZERO has been released in advance of the show's August 29 Netflix debut. The Netflix series is being produced by Production I.G and Skydance Television. Mattson Tomlin is the showrunner and Masashi Kudo is the director. Eight episodes will make up the anime.
The primary trailer and the Japanese voice cast for the anime were recently made public.
August 29 is designated as the "Judgement Day," which is the day that Arnold Schwarzenegger's character in the movie Terminator 2 provided as the timeline for when Skynet will arrive. It represents the day that most of humanity will be wiped off by a man-made artificial intelligence software that develops self-awareness.
