MADKID will play the opening theme song "Chaser," and Hikaru Makishima will deliver the closing song "Phoenix." An important image and video for the anime were leaked earlier.

In addition to Junichi Yamamoto, the director, Yuu Murai, is in charge of the series composition; Masaki Sato is in charge of character design; and Yuhki Kurihara is in charge of music for Haigakura animation.
Shinobu Takayama's manga serves as the basis for the Haigakura anime. From January 2008 until May 2015, Ichijinsha's Comic Zero Sum WARD magazine published it in serial form. It was transferred to Zero-Sum Online in September 2015, where it is currently ongoing.

In the universe of the manga, additional lesser gods have left along with the four gods who once supported the planet as pillars. Shakakans, whose mission it is to apprehend the gods who have escaped and bring peace back to the world, rose to prominence as a result of this. Ichiyo, the protagonist, reluctantly transforms into a kashikan in order to save his foster father, who was apprehended in an attempt to replace the departing four gods. To reclaim the gods and return to his previous calm life is Ichiyo's primary objective.
