Suicide Squad ISEKAI Receives WIT Studio's Webtoon Adaptation

 

WIT Studio is going to start a webtoon adaptation of the Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime on August 25. This will be the first webtoon based on DC Comics, and it will be accessible in full colour and as a vertical scroll format on LINE Manga and Jump TOON. The first three episodes of the anime debuted on June 23 on Max and Hulu, while Episode 10 marked the show's conclusion on August 15.

A behind-the-scenes look at the sword fights between Harley Quinn and Katana in episodes one and seven was also made available on the official website.
The anime Suicide Squad ISEKAI was directed by Eri Osada. Designer of the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! manga, Akira Amano, was responsible for the initial character designs. The staff also included Naoto Hosoda as the character designer, Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara as screenwriters, and Kenichiro Suehiro as the music director. The voice cast included:

The official synopsis for the Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime:
Amanda Waller, the head of A.R.G.U.S., has assembled a group of notorious criminals for a mission: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark. These DC Super-Villains are sent into an otherworldly realm that’s connected to this world through a gate. It’s a world of swords and magic where orcs rampage and dragons rule the skies—an “ISEKAI!”

Harley Quinn and the others go berserk after arriving in the ISEKAI but are captured by the Kingdom’s soldiers and sent to prison. They only have 72 hours before the bombs implanted in their necks explode. The clock is ticking.
