Promise of Wizard, the anime adaption, has unveiled the first trailer, the first key image, and the January 2025 release date. Naoyuki Tatsuwa is directing the animation at Studio LIDENFILMS.

Coly is the creator of the Japanese online simulation video game Promise of Wizard. In Japan, it was made available on iOS and Android smartphones in November 2019. Uta Shinonome created a manga version of it, which Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Zero Sum magazine serialised from April 2020 to December 2023. Started in April of this year, the same magazine is presently hosting a second adaptation of a manga by Shibataro Nakamura. Before the anime, the franchise received numerous stage plays and web dramas.
