MF Ghost Season 2 reveals a new trailer with the opening theme and the release date of October 6.

The opening theme music from MF Ghost Season 2 was featured in a new video, which also confirmed the show's October 6 release date. Naka Tomohito, the director of the "successor to Initial D," is bringing Felix Film back to animate the follow-up. In March, the anime released a teaser image.

You can see the new trailer below. It contains Yu Serizawa's "ROCK ME KISS ME feat. MOTSU" as the opening theme music.

Twelve episodes from the first season of MF Ghost ran on television from October to December of 2023. The remaining members of the core crew, which consists of character designer Naoyuki Onda, chief animation directors Naoyuki Onda and Chiyoko Sakamoto, and screenwriter Ken'ichi Yamashita, are all returning and Seiko Akashi as the art director. The main voice cast of the anime includes:

The future world of the story, in which electric cars are commonplace, is set after Initial D. The anime's first season is available for streaming on Crunchyroll, which also details the plot:

Japan adopts self-driving electric automobiles and renders most gas engines obsolete by 202X. The fastest cars find new life in the MFG, a racing circuit held on Japanese motorways. Drivers from around the world race for a shot at the title. Kanata Rivington returns from Britain to Japan for the MFG—and to find his father. Can he win the title and find answers? Buckle up and push it to the limit!
