The release date and teaser image for Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu suru? (Iya, Shinai!) in 2025 have been revealed. (Is a Boy-Girl friendship Sustainable? (It Can't, I Repeat)) animation. The news and today's Japanese publication of the novel's ninth volume coincide. In August 2022, the anime was announced in conjunction with the publication of its fifth volume. Himari Inuzuka, the lead female character, appears in the teaser image.
The original Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu suru? (Iya, Shinai!) light novel is written by Nana Nanana and has illustrations by Parum. As of August 9, it has nine published volumes overall. It has been published since 2021 under Kadokawa's Dengeki Bunko imprint. Additionally, Kamelie has created a manga adaption. The narrative is explained as follows:
Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu suru? (Iya, Shinai!!) is a coming-of-age love comedy about two high school students, the cheerful girl Himari Inuzuka,
and the flower-loving boy Yu Natsume, who pledged eternal friendship in
junior high school. The two had been best friends since junior high,
but their destiny is thrown out of whack when Yu reunites with his first
love from the past.
