Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga Preview the Ending Song in the New Trailer, Releasing on October 5

The anime Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga unveiled a new trailer with the final song and a release date of October 5. The anime's second installment is being animated by Studio VOLN again, while the third installment, Blue Night Saga, is scheduled to premiere in January 2025. Yobahi performs the title track, "Tsurara," which is the theme song.

The anime will be streamed on Crunchyroll. The initial trailer utilised Reol's song "RE RESCUE" as the opening track.

The Shimane Illuminati Saga was animated by Studio VOLN, under the direction of Daisuke Yoshida. The 12-episode animation broadcast from January 6 to March 23.

The anime Blue Exorcist is based on a manga written by Kazue Katou. 2009 saw the beginning of its Jump Square magazine serialisation. Episodes 16–25 of the first anime season, which aired in the spring of 2011, contained an anime original final arc. A Blue Exorcist film was released in 2012.

Known as Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga, the second season debuted in the winter of 2017. It kept the manga's plot unchanged and disregarded the prequel's anime-only arc. Two OVA episodes from season 2 and a side tale called Blue Exorcist: Kuro's Trip Away From Home are also included. The entire adaptation was animated by A-1 Pictures. The principal cast consists of:

  • Nobuhiko Okamoto as Rin Okumura
  • Jun Fukuyama as Yukio Okumura
  • Kana Hanazawa as Shiemi Moriyama
  • Eri Kitamura as Izumo Kamiki
