The SAKAMOTO DAYS anime will be available on Netflix starting in January 2025. Director Masaki Watanabe is animating for Studio TMS Entertainment. The May announcement of the adaptation was followed by the earlier today release of the voice cast. You may watch the English-subbed trailer they published below.
The SAKAMOTO DAYS anime crew, in addition to director Masaki Watanabe, consists of character designer Yo Moriyama, script writer Yuto Suzuki, and series composition leader Taku Kishimoto.
The voice cast for the anime includes:
- Tomokazu Sugita as Taro Sakamoto
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shin Asakura
- Ayane Sakura as Lu Xiaotang
- Nao Toyama as Aoi Sakamoto
- Hina Kino as Hana Sakamoto
- Ryota Suzuki as Heisuke Mashimo
- Miyari Nemoto as Piisuke
Yuto Suzuki is a Japanese manga author of SAKAMOTO DAYS. Since 2020, Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has serialised it. As of June 4, 2024, there are 176 chapters and 17 published volumes. The manga was licensed in English by VIZ Media, and Netflix explains the story:
