The anime I'll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History has released a character trailer for Alicia Williams, the main character, and an October 1 release date. Yuji Yanase is directing the animation at Studio MAHO FILM. Kanna Nakamura provides the voice of Alicia, while Kaito Ishikawa plays Duke Seeker, the main male character.
I'll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History: Izumi Okido and Jyun Hayase are the authors of the Japanese light novel series It Seems Turning into a High-Born Baddie Makes the Prince All the More Lovestruck (Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo: Akuyaku Reijo ni Naru hodo Oji no Dekiai wa Kasoku suru yo desu!).

It started off as an online book that was posted in December 2018 on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. Later, Enterbrain purchased it, and from August 2019, they have been releasing it as a light novel. Additionally, there is an Akari Hoshi-illustrated manga adaptation that started serialisation in May 2020. The English manga was licensed by Yen Press, who detailed the plot as follows:
