Ahead of its January 2025 premiere, the anime NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita (For Some Reason I Started Living with a NEET Kunoichi) has unveiled a new image and main trailer. Animating is Studio Quad (My Life as Inukai-san's Dog).
Following a recent expansion, the voice cast now includes the following actors:
- Hinaki Yano as Shizuri Ideura
- Shoya Ishige as Tsukasa Atsumi
- Fairouz Ai as Ayame Momochi
- Saya Aizawa as Hina Izumi
- Hina Kino as Kanae Natsumi

The manga series NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita is based on, with storyboard assistance by Mato Yakito and writing and drawing by Kotatsu. In 2020, it debuted as a serial on Niconico Douga and Twitter (now X). After KADOKAWA purchased it, it was republished under the Dengeki Comics EX imprint.
The series follows the story of Tsukasa Atsumi, a normal salaryman, who
is suddenly attacked by a monster and gallantly saved by Shizuri Ideura,
a shinobi. However, when Shizuri is not working, she becomes an otaku
NEET. The story will progress as Tsukasa’s househusband skills spoil
Shizuri.
