Kohei Horikoshi Draws illustrations for New Eri and Aizawa

To celebrate the publication of Volume 41 in Japan, Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of My Hero Academia, designed a special image of Eri and Shota Aizawa. In the artwork, Eri is seen brandishing a sword that is larger than she is, and her guardian is a hound or wolf that has Aizawa's Capturing Weapon and hair. The complete illustration is shown below.

The image's text reads, "My Hero Academia Volume 41 Is Now Available."
Aizawan, whose name plays on the Japanese word "wan," which means "woof."

From July 2014 to August 2024, Kohei Horikoshi wrote and drew the books of My Hero Academia. It concluded last week after being serialised in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. Commemorative drawings and words from other writers and animators were included, and the publication of the global character poll.

Studio BONES adapted the manga for the first time into anime in 2016. In the years that followed, it was given six additional seasons; the seventh is presently airing. The Olympics caused an August 17 postponement for Episode 13. The English manga was licensed by VIZ Media, and the anime can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
