Cultural Exchange with Game Center Girl Receives Anime Adaptation

 


 There has been no further information released regarding the official TV anime adaptation of Cultural Exchange with Game Centre Girl. The announcement was made on X by author Hirokazu Yasuhara, who also provided a commemorative special illustration.



 In December 2019, Yasuhara started the Cultural Exchange on Pixiv and Twitter with the Game Centre Girl manga. Afterwards, Fujimi Shobo serialised it through the Niconico Seiga website starting in May 2020, and as of July 2024, eight volumes had been published.


Along with the publication of its second volume in July 2021, the manga also launched a promotional film, in which voice actor Nao Toyama played Lily, the main character


 

The synopsis is described:


A Heartwarming Comedy with a Cute British Girl
The protagonist, Renji Kusakabe, who works part-time at an arcade, unexpectedly meets a British girl named Lily, and somehow, they end up exchanging diary entries!?
Though Renji is constantly thrown off by the innocent and lively Lily, is this cross-cultural exchange leading to friendship, or perhaps…?
