Announced: Petals of Reincarnation Anime

 

In honour of the tenth anniversary of the Petals of Reincarnation manga series, a TV animation has been announced. Along with a commemorative illustration by the author, they also issued a teaser image and trailer for the announcement. On Mangamo, the manga is categorised as horror, supernatural, and action.
Mikihisa Konishi is both the author and illustrator of the manga series Petals of Reincarnation 

 


(Rinkaneshon no Kaben). In July 2014, it started to serialise in Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Blade magazine. In September of the same year, it moved to the Comic Blade website owned by the publisher. There are currently 19 volumes available, and on August 7, 2024, volume 20 is scheduled for publication in Japan. The manga, which Mangamo licensed in English and described as follows:


 

Toya Senji is talentless. He”s tried everything but he can”t seem to excel at anything no matter how hard he tries. Then he meets Haito, a Kendo champion and… humanity”s protector? She uses the Stem of Reincarnation to draw on the abilities of her past lives, but it only works when she slits her own throat. And now she wants Toya to join her?!
