An anime adaptation of Hisaya Nakajo's adored manga series Hana-Kimi: For You in Full Blossom is on the way. The release date, format, and studio have not yet been disclosed. Regarding the anime adaptation, the editorial team released the following statement:

We have been collaborating on this project and talking about it with Hisaya Nakajo for a while.
Ms. Nakajo also perused the character and plot rough drafts. She was excited to see Hana-Kimi's world presented in a manner distinct from that of a manga. It's unfortunate that she was unable to view the finished product.

We feel so fortunate that Hana-Kimi: For You in Full Blossom is available once more.being modified, twenty years following its completion. Please look forward to the broadcast as we collaborate with the editorial and production departments to achieve Mr. Nakajo's and our readers' expectations.

The most significant work by Hisaya Nakajo was Hana-Kimi: For You in Full Blossom. Hana to Yume magazine published the romantic cross-dressing shojo manga from 1996 until 2006. 23 volumes were created from its 144 chapters. Over the years, Hana-Kimi has been adapted into four different dramas; this will be its first anime version.
