The wait is over! Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is getting a season 2!!

Rifujin na Magonote’s fantasy-action light novel series, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2 has been officially confirmed by the anime series Twitter account. The series was one of the best fantasy anime of 2021, so a second season announcement shouldn’t be a surprise.

 Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is getting a season 2, as announced during a special pre-screening event dedicated to the new Eris OVA. The second season should cover the Ranoa Magic Academy Arc but currently, only an announcement image is available, while more info is expected to come at a later date:

 
Studio Bind animated the series under Manabu Okamoto’s direction. The first season was split into 2 cours, with the first airing in winter 2021 and the second in fall of the same year

Season 1 of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless aired in 2 split cours during Winter 2021 and Fall 2021 seasons and had 23 episodes. The anime is based on a light novel by Rifujin na Magonote with Shirotaka’s illustrations. A manga adaptation is currently ongoing, as well as Mushoku Tensei: Roxy Gets Serious spin-off. Seven Seas is publishing the light novel in English.
