Yuki Yuna is a Hero: The Great Mankai Chapter revealed a mid-season trailer after the 7th episode of what is also the franchise’s third season.
Yuki Yuna is a Hero: The Great Mankai Chapter premiered on October 12nd and will have 12 episodes. Studio Gokumi is animating the series, after previously working on the original series and The Hero Chapter sequel.
Since Sentai Filmworks has the exclusive rights to the anime, HiDive is streaming it and describes the plot as:
Yuna,
Mimori, Fuu, Itsuki, Karin and Sonoko have vanquished deadly Vertexes,
and recovered a missing friend. Now a new adventure begins, one that
will test their skills and their friendships alike.
Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats) is directing, with Takahiro Sakai once again on character designs. MONACA and Keiichi Okabe are composing the music for the series. The anime is an original work.
The cast also returned for season 3 so Haruka Terui is once again voicing Yuna Yuki, with Suzuko Mimori and Yumi Uchiyama as Mimori Togo and Fu Inubozaki. Juri Nagatsuma (Karin Miyoshi), Tomoyo Kurosawa (Itsuki Inubozaki), and Kana Hanazawa (Nogi Sonoko) are also back. In addition to voicing characters, the main cast is also performing opening and ending themes. The opening is titled “Ashita no Hanatachi”, while the ending theme is “Chiheisen no Muoku e”.
