Skip and Loafer Anime Announced

Skip and Loafer, a seinen rom-com manga by Misaki Takamatsu, is getting an anime adaptation. There is still no studio, staff, cast, or release date information.

Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon magazine, where the manga is being serialized, posted an announcement for Volume 6, which also includes the news about anime:twitter

Skip and Loafer follows Iwakura Mitsumi, whose dream is to enter a prestigious university and change the world. To do this, she moved to Tokyo and begins attending high school there. But, constantly preparing for everything that might go wrong also makes you very tense. Soon she meets Shima Sousuke, a (handsome) classmate who is very chill and manages to balance her out.

The manga started serialization in 2018 and currently has 6 volumes. Seven Seas is publishing the manga in English, and currently, 3 volumes are available. Volume 4 is coming on April 12, 2022, while the 5th one will become available on July 19 of the same year.
