Answering to the first question the answer is no.And here's why.Currently in the Pokemon Journeys episodes we are at episode 93 in pokemon journeys.And episode 94 is coming in 14th january.The Pokemon anime declared the end of season 23 after 45 episodes which means there's going to be 45 episodes each season.In mathematical note, season 24 ends with episode 90.So, serena doesn't return in season 24.
And for the question no 2:
The answer is yes.Serena has a high chance of her returning in 2022.And the biggest reason on her return might be Chloe(Koharu).Right now Chloe has met almost every evolution except sylveon. And also in the newest preview we see that chloe has taken part in a performance with her pokemon.It means she might take interest in performances later.And that might be the biggest reason why serena will return. Yes.Might be a bit late.But the Pokemon Journeys have kept the best for last.
What episode will serena retun in Pokemon Journeys?
Any episode after 100th episode is done.Cause till the 100th almost set.That will be enough for Chloe to get some character development.Then serena to appear.
